At JULUKA Fitness, we know that every individual is different. That’s why our team designs a health and fitness program for each client based on their unique goals and objectives. From low back pain protocols to a weight management plan, the JULUKA team is highly qualified to prescribe the exact exercise regimen needed to achieve long lasting results.

JULUKA HIIT Class Outdoors

JULUKA HIIT is high intensity interval training but don’t let the high intensity intimidate you! Each exercise in the 10-exercise circuit can be modified for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. The exercises are a combination of bilateral and unilateral bodyweight movements and a combination of cardio, TRX, battle rope, sled push and core work. Correct technique is emphasized.

A unique aspect of our HIIT class is that the time of each exercise is determined by whomever is on a cardio piece. This person is given a distance to reach or a set number of calories to achieve and that effort determines how long the others in the class spend on a particular exercise in the rotation. Not having a known finish time or finite rep count teaches you to be more present and takes you out of your comfort zone.

Everyone is encouraged to perform with their best effort, so no one is excluded based on talent or limitations. Therefore, two completely different individuals with their own capacities may take a JULUKA HIIT class and both achieve positive results and have a common experience.

If your health and fitness goals include improving balance, reducing stress, boosting your cardiovascular health, or losing weight, paddleboarding could be the perfect activity for you. Garth and his team will take a small group paddleboarding in beautiful Gardiners Bay and Accabonac Harbor on the east end of Long Island. JULUKA Fitness provides the boards and paddles and the team ensures that all safety precautions are taken. They also assist with Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) technique and help you get the most out of this engaging workout.

Trail Walks & Runs

Trail running or walking is a great addition to any health and fitness routine. The benefits are many and include:

  • Improved balance and cardiovascular health
  • Use of a wide range of muscle groups
  • Exciting terrain (not boring!)
  • A social activity when done in groups
  • Connection with nature

Simply put, trail runs and walks are the perfect mind-body workout that can make a serious contribution to your physical and mental health.
